Approval of Minutes: The minutes of the EIC meeting of 11 January 1966 (EIC-M-112) were approved. Approved For Release 2000/09/01 : 83R000 GROUP 1 Excluded from automatic clow 00(k1 roy, ,dingt~and Approved For Release 2000/09/01 : CIA-RDP82-00283R000100010039-4 EIC-M-113 8 February 1966 Consideration of EIC-R14-S20, Aid and Trade Activities of Communist Countries in Less Developed Areas of the Free World, 1 January - 31 December 1965: conducted the review of the report on a page-by-page basis. Minor modifications and changes were agreed to and the DIA member requested an adjustment in the military table. Members of the working group were instructed to resolve the question in a clean-up session. The DIA member expressed appreciation for a good report and the Committee approved the report for issuance. In view of absence several items were deferred, including: (1) distribution of the material referenced in the summary of discussion of the 11 January meeting, and (Z) EIC approval of Chairman for the Subcom- mittee on Shipbuilding. Revision of Directory of EIC Personnel: The EIC Secretariat plans to update and issue a revised Directory of EIC Personnel which was last published in January 1965. Listings of personnel designated by member agencies to serve on the EIC, its Subcommittees, and Working Groups will be circulated to members for their review and revision in the near future. Status of Supplement to the annual Soviet trade paper: CIA plans to publish, about 1 March, a supplement to the report on Soviet Foreign Trade: Continued Sluggishness which was published in December 1965 (CIA/RR ER 65-33). This supplement will reflect the final official trade statistics for 1964. 25X1A9a Executive Secretary SECRETARY'S NOTE: EIC members concurred, by interim action on 8 February, in the response to Major General Reynolds on the EIC Requirement for Imagery Interpretation Information and Services.
