This will be Morris Crawford's last meeting. He is bring Milt Kovner
and Herbert Glantz, State representative on SC on Petroleum with him.
Will he introduce Milt as his replacement on the EIC ?
Morris transferred to State in 1961, was nominated and served as
Chairman of the EIC Working Group on Aid & Trade Activities from
June 1961 to August 1962, and has served as the State Representative
on the EIC since January 1962.

EIC members concurred in the draft memo to Director
of Intelligence Support, subject to the change recommended by the DIA
member, notifying him of the Committee's decision to discontinue the
5X1 C813 Working Group as an EIC entity.

Actions by the Executive Secretary:
1. Formally requested the Chairman of the Working Group on Aid
and Trade Activities to undertake a revision of the Terms of Reference
and to report back to the EIC/S within 6 weeks. (7 April)
2. Formally notified the Chairman, Subcommittee on Population and
Manpower that by action of the EIC on 30 March 1966 the subcommittee was
abolished and that the Committee accepted other recommendations concerning
future ad hoc matters requiring EIC action and continued publication of the
Population Wall Chart. (7 April 1966)
Information copies have been provided EIC members and participating
associate members.

Subcommittee on Agriculture:
At the 30 March meeting, the Committee noted the report of this
subcommittee. Subcommittee members have now concurred in the
proposal for the weekly exchange of project listings.
The subcommittee has suggested that its membership be expanded
to include an expert on fishing from the Department of the Interior.
Action Required: Request members concurrence for Department
of the Interior participation on this subcommittee. Chairman will
then extend a formal invitation to Interior.
