TEE PAD.
APPROXIMATELY 18 NM NE OF THE TOWN OF PLESETSK.
LAUNCH SITE 3 IS A TYPE IA LAUNCH SITE, HAVING
A SINGLE RAIL-SERVED LAUNCH PAD, IT IS ONE OF
4 SUCH LAUNCH PADS LOCATED AT THE PLESETSK
MISSILE AND SPACE CENTER, AND THESE 4 ARE THE
ONLY DEPLOYED TYPE IA SITES WHICH HAVE BEEN
IDENTIFIED. THE PROTOTYPE FOR THESE SITES IS
LAUNCH SITE B1 AT THE TYURATAM MISSILE TEST CENTER,
LAUNCH SITE 3 IS LOCATED ON THE SE BANK OF A
TRIBUTARY OF THE YEMTSA RIVER, IT IS ENCLOSED
BY A DOUBLE SECURITY FENCE WHICH FORMS AN
IRREGULAR RECTANGLE APPROXIMATELY 2,600 BY
1,300 FT ORIENTED ON A NW/SE AXIS. THE SINGLE
CONCRETE LAUNCH PAD OVERHANGS A RAVINE; A MISSILE

CENTER OF THE PAD, AN UNIDENTIFIED OBJECT (OR OBJECTS) APPROXIMATELY
