African newspaper attacks Jehovah's Witnesses
YAOUNDE, Cameroun Republic - The Yaounde newspaper;'
"Press du Cameroun," strongly supported the recent governrr,ent
ban on the activities of a U.S. religious sect, "Jehovah's Witnesses,".
and charged "at least some members of this sect are American CIA
agents."
The paper notes that the U.S. sect, as far as possible, ignores the
existence of Cameroun as an independent state, preaches extremely.
