1. SIGNIFICANCE: BEST QUALITY TO DATE REVEALS A INCREASE IN ORDER
OF BATTLE AT THIS INSTALLATION.
2. REMARKS:
BEZRECHNAYA HQ 5TH GUARDS TANK DIVISION IS AN
ACTIVE AND EXTENSIVE GROUND FORCE MILITARY COM-
PLEX IN THE TRANSBAIKAL M.D. THE INSTALLATION
COVERS APPROXIMATELY 2,000 ACRES AND CONSISTS
OF A LARGE BILLETING AND SUPPORT AREA WITH AN
ADJOINING TRAINING FACILITY. THE INSTALLATION
IS LOCATED APPROXIMATELY 60 NM FROM THE SING/
SOVIET BORDER., AND APPROXIMATELY 43 NM FROM
THE SOVIET/MONGOLIAN BORDER. IT IS CONNECTED
BY RAIL TO CHOIBALSAN, MONGOLIA.
3. LOCATION: 7 NM NW OF KHADABULAK AND 42 NM NW OF BORZYA.
