It was concluded by the subcommittee that there is no reason to
delete any portion of, or to expand upon the statements made by ATIC
specialiet;, and ARDC technicians retarding the potential US technological
and intelligence gains resulting from the exchange as outlined in 'gabs D
and E of t to subject memorandum o
3. Recommendations
The subcommittee on Civil Aircraft ProductionExenantes recommends
t..aW the USIB Co aittee on Exchanges instruct the US Air Pores to foriard
a letter to the Aerospace Industries Association (AIA) sta?ing t'iat it has
been determined teat the US rill, acquire a substantial tecdanological gain
from trzis exchange 4 It is alao recacamended that the AIA be requested to
reopen the case with the aircraft industry in order to reinstate AlA :sty
sponsor of this, exchange.
