Agenda Item No. 1: Procurement of R13-49 Equipment 1. Introduction Prior to the meeting 0C-013 had submitted a mesurandvm to Board Mashers requesting Board approval for the procurement of RS-49 equipment in the following quantitlea: E mated. Estimated 2? Discussion Discussion revolved primarily around the justification end need for procuremen of the above equipment in the quantities requested by 0C-08. It was brought out that the above quantities were coordinated with the Technical Requirements Board earlier as a result of VA& the Office has received a memarentium signed by the Deputy Director (Plane) approving, far planning purposes, the above quentities. However, it is necessary that the Office in End:WA a memorandum to the Technical Requirements Beard for final approval before obligating funds for the procurement of this equivalent. Agenda Item No. 2: Procurement of RS.54 Equipnent. 1. Introduction In a memerandise which had been submitted to Board *tabors prior to the meeting, OC-0Z requested Board zgaproval to procure 300 a8-.54 transceivers.
