This program visit byl
was conducted under contract The purpose of 25X1
this visit was to continue the application of optical image
manipulation at the customers facility for operational imagery.
Specifically the primary objective for this visit was to repeat
a previous experiment and demonstrate repeatability of manipulation
for an operational image. This task was performed and recorded
on film. Processes were carried out on the optical system to
evaluate the response of other duplicate images and to study
source configuration characteristics of the system. The details
of the work performed at the laboratory are recorded in the lab
notebook.
A program plan generated to describe continuing effort
and goals of this program is attached to this document. A copy
of the program plan was left with John C. on December 2, 1970.
The text, Principles of Optics, M. Born and E. Wolf, Pergamon
Press 1970 was delivered to Major Hayden P. on November 24.
A program briefing is scheduled for 9 December 1970 at
the customers facility.
