No lecture period was held, and the lecture prepared for the morning of May 6 will be delivered on May 11. The details of this visit to the are contained in the laboratory notebook 2201201-LN#1. Copies of the notebook notations will be delivered to the contract monitor at the end of each month. However, directives for continued. laboratory effort by lab personnel were generated and left with the contract monitor: A copy of the directives dated May 7 is attached to this summary. During the two days being reported here initial refine- ments of the interferometer and coherent processor were made, providing a means to operate both systems on a preliminary basis. Thus an inverse hologram detection filter was fabricated on the interferometer and detection filtering was performed with the processor. Preliminary results were obtained and photographs of the detection filtering outputs are available in the laboratory notebook. The next visit is scheduled for 11-13 May 1970. STAT is scheduled for 11, 12 May and for 12, 13 May. Continued STAT effort will be directed to the hologram detection system as directed on the attached schedule.
