1. Your invitations to members of this Directorate
to visit - was most thoughtful and generous. Un-
fortunately, I was not able to join the group but the
comments and expressions of gratitude (to say nothing
of the amazement of the capability of the system) from
those who did visit clearly indicate that you and.your
senior staff put on a most impressive evening and further,
that you enjoyed having the Administrative group there.
2. On behalf of those who attended, permit me to
formally thank you for the gracious offer and fine evening.
The fact that you, Bart and other senior. officers asso-
ciated with the program took time to participate is a
clear indication of the sincerity with which your invita-
tions were offered.
3. Your gesture not only,serves as concrete evidence
of the extent to which there is cooperation among the
major elements of the Agency. but also, more parochially,
recognizes the support provided by this Directorate to
even the most sophisticated technical program.
