The students were quite impressed with the whole thing. Impressed that is, in the usual New York tough guy, cynical manner. They believed some of what they saw and about half of what they heard. What was good. about the whole thing is that it helped di-mystify the CIA a bit. This I think is badly needed. Before the trip and the course, it was easy to dump all U.S.A. internal and external problems at the door of the CIA. Now some of the students are not so sure. One even submitted an article to Commentary on the question of nationl security. In a sense you were building a constituency. The staff people were quite good in dealing with the students. Especially Mr. I wrote to General Walters and he promised that the next time I give the course he would come in and talk. Thanks again. Sincerely, Jordan M.
