SUBJECT
1. under PAR-210 of Contract is conducting a
study on the lamination of glass slides for PID. This is essentially an
effort on the part of to develop an inexpensive technique to
prevent the buckling of Teleprompter slides when subjected to long periods
of heat. In addition, will be looking at our projectors to
see if there is any way in which the air flow can be modified to provide
greater cooling to the slide while it is being projected.
A telephone call was received fromi
25X1 n 27 February requesting the use of one o our projectors at their
shop for approximately a month to test out some materials and techniques
which they had developed and also to look into the air flow problems.
25X1 Discussion with indicated that we could afford to spare
one of the slide projectors for this period and investigation is underway
to determine the best way of shipping the projector t
25X1 mentioned that we may be able to send it up on one of the
25X1 *--0 planes thati uses for his film transportation. Shipment will
25X1 await word from as to when they are ready for the projector.
If possible, I would like tosend] along with the projector
to inform them as to its mechanisms and electrical connections and to
benefit from some of their technical suggestions regarding the mechanical
operations and optics.
