Gentlemen:
Subject: Proposal - Advanced Rear Projection Viewer
development, fabrication, and testing of an Advanced Rear Projection
Viewer. The proposal has been prepared in accordance with the refer-
ence request. Enclosure (1) sets forth our firm quotation and includes
the required cost breakdown. The technical approach, hardware descrip-
tion, statement of work, and program delivery schedule are presented
in enclosure (2).
The enclosures present proposal for the design,
welcomes this opportunity to apply its knowledge and
resources to the subject program. Since 1959, has designed
and built'viewers and associated equipment for photo interpretation.
The proposed advanced viewer utilizes design features and techniques
which represent proven solutions. In addition, recent development
programs result in cost savings and state-of-the-art advancements in
resolution, distortion, illumination, and film handling. These advance-
ments and more than 19 years extensive research and development experi-
ence provide the Government with an exceptional source for this develop-
ment at a considerable cost savings. will commit all necessary
personnel and resources to carry the proposed program to a successful
completion.
firm quotation assumes a cost reimbursement type contract
containing mutually acceptable terms and conditions as prescribed by
government procurement regulations for a development program of this
nature. is willing to negotiate a contract containing incen-
tive provisions.

Contractor's price as submitted herewith is predicated upon the assump-
tion that development costs can be amortized over ten units. In the
event that you subsequently order additional units, you will recognize`
in the cost of these units (up to ten) the pro-rata share of these
-development costs consistent with our basic cost assumption.
Contractor reserves the right to amend this proposal at any time
prior to its acceptance.
