Filar Eyepiece for Twin Dynazoom
1. The Development Branch was recently able to meet an immediate
operational requirement for a filar measuring system (to be used on
the 0 Twin Dynazoom) in a rather effective and expeditious manner.
We developed an acceptable system in approximately 6 weeks most of
which was spent awaiting the delivery of the filar from II 25X1
2. We were able to accomplish the project within this time
frame because of team work.
of ISS/DB obtained the proper filar, made
all arrangements and coordinated the project.
b. I of EDLB designed the necessary special
adapters required to mount the filar and produced the
necessary engineering drawings -- all within a period of
3 days.
C. of EPS/DB machined the prototype adapter and
did an excellent job.
3. It is the intent of this memo to record their efforts and
to thank and commend these individuals for a job well done. Such
fast responses to operational requirements can only enhance P&DS's
stature within NPIC.
