SUBJECT: RT-l2 and RT-24 - Operational Improvements
TASK/PROBLEM
1. Conduct necessary design, fabrication, and test effort to imple-
ment operational improvements to the RT-12-inch and RT-24-inch Processors
as requested by the customer.
2. The RT-12 and RT-24 Processors have been installed at the customer's
facility for approximately one year. Prolonged production usage of such
equipment generally reveals areas of improvement which, if implemented, would
increase efficiency, reduce maintenance or improve quality. Since it is
anticipated that requests for operational improvements will be forthcoming
from the customer, it is the intent of this PAR to provide the means of
making such improvements.
3. Since the objective of this PAR is to make design improvements as
requested by the customer and since at the present time these improvements
are unknown, a tentative schedule cannot be prepared. This project will be
active on the date of approval and will continue until funds are exhausted
or upon termination.
4. No final report will be submitted. Documentation of individual
improvements will be made in the Monthly and Quarterly Reports.
