COMMENTS:
PAR 211, PAR 212, PAR 213, PAR 216 and PAR 217 all appear to be
challenges not met by this particular division of ^ They probably
should not have been assigned to 0 as projects since so little has
been given in return. Recommend we notify ^ of general poor quality
of research and reporting, then close out these particularlprojects
as "water under the bridge".
Note: PARs 214 and 215 were delivered and installed in NPTC in
October/November 1965. They are still undergoing experimental
operations although the PARs are completed.

28 September 1965
In order to complete our briefing materials for PAR-213, we will
require more material than was listed in PAR 242. Our letter of 5 May 1965
indicated that considerably more slide material would be needed than was
.included in PAR 242; we would therefore like to expand PAR 242 to include
additional materials as indicated below. This would require a new ached.
ale and fiscal estimate. It is assumed that all slides discussed in PAR
242 are made by color separation printing.
Additional Materials
1. Increase item 3f of PAR 242 to five each.
2. Adds one contact S0-121 on SO-121 by subtractive printing.
3. Adds one contact 50-121 to 4400 by white light printing
thence to 8430 by mercury light printing.
4. Adds one contact from'original 4404 to 8430 and one 50.121 on
SO-108 (additive).
5? Adds one each 1X, 2X and 4X from 5X Interneg Ektacolor ?? all
by subtractive printing.
In summary, this means that the number of slides for the revised
PAR will be increased from seven to 18 each, four of which will be by
subtractive printing, and one will be from black and white to black and
white.
