MEMORANDUM FOR THE RECORD .
SUBJECT:' Release of BPE Sub-assemblies for Multiple Unit
Fabrication
1. In a meeting at on 16-17 May
1966, it was agreed that would schedule the multiple
fabrication of such assemblies and advise NPIC. NPIC would
then invite liaison representatives for a meeting at ~ as
early as possible; and after consultation with the representatives,
would release the components for multiple unit fabrication.
2. In accordance with the above agreement and a review
having been duly made of the following sub-assemblies on 14-15
September 1966, they are herewith released for multiple unit
fabrication.
a. Objective lenses (6) including focus assemblies
b. Condenser elements (6)
c. Optical frame (main frame)
d. Lower frame (shock mounted stand
e,, Vacuum platen (easel)
f. Platen carriage (easel)
g. Platen drive assembly, DWG # 1-023-E-005
h. All fractional H.P. motors
