SUBJECT : Anticipated Travel in Connection with Installation
and Acce taarce of Briefing Print Enlargers; Contract
1. Under subject contract with there remains
six Briefing Print Enlargers (EPE) to be Installed and acceptance tests
performed. The first of these will be delivered to SAC Headquarters
on 15 January 1968 and installed that week. The remaining five will
be delivered as follows:
NRTSC, Suitland, Md. o/a 19 February 1968
MASC, Norfolk, Vs. o/a 25 March 1968
ACIC, St. Louis, No. o/a 5 May 1868
Beale AFB, Sacramento, Calif. o/a 10 June 1968
FICA, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii o/a 22 July 1968
2. has requested that the Contracting Officer's
Technical Monitor be at the installation sites for acceptance testing
-of each enlarger. Additionally, th have evidenced a desire for the
Technical Monitor to accompany the engineers to preview each site
about two weeks prier to installet on so as to determine any problem
areas associated with installation, security, transportation and the
like. This has been done for both the DIA and the SAC installations
and has proved invaluable in permitting a smooth installation and sub-
sequent testing.
3. This memorandum is submitted at this time to acquaint those
concerned with the details of anticipated travel, insofer as can be
determined, that will be required of the Technical Monitor in support
of this contract.
