MAGADAN SHIP REPAIR YARD NO. 2
The Magadan Ship Repair Yard No. 2 is located approximately 1.5 miles
south of Magadan near the village of Marchekan at coordinates 59 32 05N -
l05 4+6 20E.
Facilities at this repair yard include one small boat storage area, one
pier, one gantry crane, one probable forge/foundry, several machine shops and
four administrative/support buildings. There appears to be no out-of-water
repair facilities or marine railway which would be required for any kind of
extensive ship repair. The absence of these facilities indicates that only
minor repairs are made at this installation.
Table one contains the description and dimensions of buildings at Ship
Repair Yard No. 2. The items listed in table one are keyed to the attached
line drawing (Figure 1).
