1. In response to the referenced requirement, all recent II 25X1
photography was reviewed to provide the number of antennas and t eih 'r
orientation for all TWIN DISH troposcatter facilities' in the ALMA-ATA,
USSR area.
2. Both TWIN DISH antennas at the Samarkand Radcom/Radrel A Tropo
Sta (39-39-27N 06-65-810E, have been removed. One of the
TWIN DISH antennas at the Samarkand Radrel/Radcom A Tropo Sta NE (39-41-
35N 06-65-910E, has been removed. Both of these stations
have been replaced by the Krasnogvardeysk Sta (39-41-02N 06-71-918E,
The Khavast Tropo Sta (40-12-28N 06-85-004E,
has been abandoned.
3. Table 1 (Attachment 1) shows all the TWIN DISH troposcatter
facilities which have been identified in the ALMA-ATA area. Table 1 also
lists the number of antennas, orientations, and probable correspondents
for each facility.
