MEMORANDUM FOR: Assistant for Technical Development, NPIC
SUBJECT : Additional Modifications to the 918 Light Table
1. The 918 Fly away Light Table that was modified by request from
PAG is evaluated to be unsatisfactory. Before discontinuing the project
? altogether however, the following modifications should be made:
a) Removal of the legs that had been installed by the
Bureau of the Census and substituting straight legs.
b) Relocation of lower crank brackets to position
originally suggested.
c) Removal )f the two split roller assemblies and
substitution of a single roller over which film
may travel.
d) Relocate transformer box to upper area of back-
plate.
2. After these changes have been accomplished, PAG will again
? evaluate the light table.
