Received call from Mx. Beveridge, Sen. Jenner's office, ye-u wanted
information as to whether the Director was a naval intelligence officer
in charge at Pearl Harbor 7 December 1941. I informed him that the
Director was present at Pearl Harbor as the Executive Officer of the
Battleship West Virginia and did not have any intelligence responsibilities.
