This report is one in a series on ~ovi,.t Ground Force and logistic
installations being prepared for a I `1_', CIA Panel.- The series is being
coordinated, published and disseminated by NPIC. The photographic
analysis is being performed by the \PIC Photographic Analysis Group,
the CIA Photographic Intelligence Division (NPIC), and the Production
Centel- IPle (l)IA). the photographic analysis for this particular re-
port vras performed by the \PIC Photographic Analysis Group.
In the interest of uniformity, the titles and letter designators for
the facilities observed at these installations are identical with those
appearing in the project requirement. When a specific facility is not
observed both its title and letter d~signatot' are omitted in the report.

The Novogrudok Barracks Area is located
2.5 kilometers .km) southwest of Novogrudok
(53-36N 025-491=) Figure 11. The installation
is not rail served, but it is located on an all-
weather highway which connects Novogrudok and
Novovelnva. Lida Barracks and Training Area
SE (AL 2), located approximately 35 km north-
west, is the closest military installation.
The barracks area covers approximately __
acres and includes two administration buildings,
five barracks, 15 storage buildings, 13 support

buildings, five vehicle sheds, an athletic field
and a small arms firing range.

Comparative analysis revealed a heavy
level- of usage during this period with lighter
usage during the winter months. Significant
changes since include the addi-
tion of two multistory barracks and a large
equipment storage 'maintenance building.
Road Service
The installation is served by the all-weather
Novogrudok-Novoyelnya I liehwav. J here is Load
access to other all-weather roads wilich radiate
from Novogrudok to Gorodeva, Baranovichi and
Lida.

Administration and Troop Housing Areas
This area \rea D. Figure 31 contains two
multistory administration buildings, five multi-
story barracks, and seven support buildings.
