Approved For Release 2003/09/10 : CIA-RDP96-00792R000100140040-8 SG1J To: Subject: Screening 1. Bob, as you know, screening and selecting potential remote viewers has received little research effort over the last 10 to 12 years. While both Army and SRI have been somewhat successful in locating talented people, any extensive effort in operational remote viewing will require that we be able to screen an available talent pool and select the very best people. To this end, we should have some kind of procedure and methodology that will produce this talent. 2. Hal's proposal, as outlined in his memo, certainly represents a good beginning toward our stated goal. It is particularly fortunate that we will be able to begin the selection research in coordination with the Omni Esp test. It should result in a large amount of "free" data. 3. If you think you will be able to fund this work in FY'83, and if you are interested in it we can discuss money and specifics later. Approved For Release 2003/09/10 : CIA-RDP96-00792R000100140040-8
