ument is the result of photographic readout of all cui lable TALTf
photography covering the Belorussian Military District. The following
TALEM missiwas were utilized: Prev-
iously published information from a readout of. the above TALENT missions
has been incorporated and appropriately referenced.
An attempt was mede.to locate P identify those logistical
Installations listed in Department of Arcot Project A-580, dated I May
1958. The limited information relative to their location and the general-
ized description of the installations provided in the Project A-530
poblicaties resmltod in verification of only a small percentage of those
listed.

SUMMARY: This ammunition storage area is located in a wooded area. 3 miles
south of the Baranovichi Airfield. It occupies a double-fenced rectangular
area of 75 acres. with the cleared area between the fences serving as a fire-
break. The area is served by an access road. connecting-to a probable all-
weather road, which runs south from EURAMOVICr..I-7I. -The installation contains
13 gable-roofed aagunition storage buildings ranging in size frov
to 110? x 60'. (18.700 square feet of floot space) and 1 administration build-
ing square feet)- The as'wunition storage buildings are well disper-
sed and are directly accessible to a good network of internal roads.

a wooded area less than a mile south of the Baranovithi-Ostrov road. It occ-
upies a probable fenced rectangular area of 100 acres surrounded by a fire-
break. The area is served by an unimproved access road. which connects with
the Baranoviehi-Ostrov road. The installation contains five 55* x 45' storage

2 miles northwest of the airfield. It occupies a fenced rectangular area of 10

irregular area of 32 acres served by two rail spurs branching off a spur lice

roads, connecting with city streets. The installation contains 10 probable

and have what appears to be two or more covered conveyors leading from the

located on the southeast edge of BCORUYSK several hundred yards south of the
Bobrrysk East Classification Yard. To fa'litate -report ing. the adjoining
areas are designated Areas A. 8, and C.
Area A is an irregular area of 30 acres,, served by access roads, connect-
ing with city streets. The area Is secured by a combination of fencing and
earthork of cn-old fort. It contains 19 buildings: 7 probable 2-storied
storage buildings ranging in size from 75' x 55' to 300' x 50'. (55.000 square
feet at roof cover), 12 1-storied storage buildings (23.000 square feet).
Area 8 is a partially fenced irregular area of 13 acres, served by access
roads, connecting with ei'y streets. The area contains three probable 2-
storied storage buildings (16.700 square feet) and one probable adaiaistra-
tioe building (5.400 square feet).
Area C is a fenced rectangular area of 4 acres. served by an access
roads connecting with a city street. Thd"area contains two storage build-
ings (4.100 square feet).
Comment: This installation appears to be -k extension of the Citadel.
and the storage facilities probably support mil ary units in the Citadel.

SUMMARY: Two small ammunition storage areas (designated Areas A & B) are
located is as open area. north of thetrisa Gorks Military Barracks.
Area A is a double-fenced rectangular area, covering 8 acres, served by an
access road, connecting with a road between the tows and the military barracks.
The installation contains three explosives storage buildings with a cleared
space around each building (14.000 square feet of floor space).
Area B is a double-fenced rectangular -arem, covering 4 acres. served by an
access road, connecting directly with the military installation. It contains
two explosives storage bunkers (2.000 square feet) with a wide cleared strip
around each banker. A firebreak encloses this area.
Comment: Location and direct road access to the military barracks area
indicate these areas are military ammunition storage facilities.

Stolbtsy rail line, In a densely wooded area 1 mile west of the village of
N(WAYA NEZINGIKA. The overall installation consists of a double fenced rec-
tangular area of 420 acres, containing the special storage facilities, and
as extensive support area, which does not appear to be fenced. The fenced
storage area is served by a spur from the Minsk-Jeranotriohi rail line. which
splits into three sub-spurs within the installation and by an access road,
connecting with the Minsk-Baranovicbi highway. A double firebreak surrounds
the storage area, one on the inside and the other on the outside of the
double fence. This area contains 50 major buildings: 7 buildings(51.000
square feet floor space) heavily revetted on three sides and directly
accessible to a rail spur; 3 seal-buried buildings(17.200 square feet);
38 gable-rooted buildiags(388,000 square feet) probably utilized for
special storage; 4 other gable-roofed storage bulldiags(70.800 square
feet); S buildings use undeteraiaed(23.000 square feet); and 1 adninis-
tratlos buildiig(7.800 square feet).
The support area Is located adjacent to the northeast side of the
storage area. It is served by a sub-spur from the spur from the Minsk-
Bsraaovicbi rail line and by an access road, connecting with the Minsk-
Barsaevichi highway. This area coutains(308.400 square feet of floor
space) broken dean as follows: barracks(85.400 square feet). quarters
30.300 square feet). adaiaistratioa (SO.600 square feet). and storage
