to scale, of elements of the complex. The information contained herein is us ~d

ALEYSK ICBM COMPLEX, USSR
The Aleysk ICBM Complex is located 151 nautical miles (nm) south of
Novosibirsk and 155 nm northeast of Semipalatinsk. It is situated in a sparsE ly
forested agricultural region of relatively flat terrain ranging from approximately
500 to 860 feet in elevation.
The complex (Figure 1) consists of a complex support facility, arail-to-road
transfer point, and 10 confirmed and 1 probable Type IIIC launch sites. 'i'o
date, this complex extends generally 26 miles north.to south and 12 miles e~~st
