1. (S/NF/SG/LIMDIS) On 20 October 1993, Chief, PAG-TA, briefed
the Commander, Deputy for operations and other U.S. Army
Foreign intelligence Command (USAFIC) personnel on this
Activity's mission and functions. One outcome of the briefing
was a USAFIC tasking to provide information on a vessel known

At enclosures 5 and 6 are project evaluation feedback results
for both projects which were received from USAFIC on
30 November 1993.
2. (S/NF/SG/LIMDIS) As background, I was shown photographs of
the and also provided with verbal feedback as to
how we our operational personnel had done on 8 November 1993.
The tasking from the USAFIC was also a "test case" in order for
us to establish our "bona fides". Overall, we did very well
and the USAFIC was pleased by the outcome. With the
disestablishment of the USAFIC on 1 December 1993 and the
impending transfer of U.S. Army HUMINT trained military
personnel and civilians to the DIA to man the Defense HUMINT

5. (S/NF/SG/LIMDIS) In sum, this USAFIC directed requirement
was perceived to be an excellent training exercise for Activity
personnel. Especially germane was the timeliness of the
feedback. More importantly, we have now established our
credibility with the former USAFIC and, hopefully, with its
successor organization. One step in our effort to build our
customer base.

interior of the vessel. An object is lifted straight up and out
of the vessel's interior; then it stops and changes angle once it
is above the smallest opening (see enclosure ic).
-- This structure is associated with directed energetics
of some sort. Large, circular fields or rings of energy are
projected out at an extremely fast rate from the smallest
opening. They are reminiscent of "visible light" rings of donut-
shaped white energy. Enclosures le-1g, depict an angle apparatus
which telescopes up out of the interior of the vessel and then
spreads out.
-- The diagram at (enclosure lg) depicts what is formed
by the structure on the vessel. It is perceived to be some sort
of energy "ring" that is formed around the vessel. The radius is
in the tens or hundreds of miles range (60 and 100) are important
for some reason. This ring, perceptually forms a white "fog",
"noise" or "mist" around the vessel. It creates an inference
which blocks something. The energetics are perceived to pulsate
back and forth; it creates an interference but also "senses" at
the same time.
-- There are a number of long, black tubes or cylinders
wrapped in green and stacked width-wise within the hold area.
They are stacked in groups of three with the upper tube having a
larger diameter than the two lower tubes. These tubes are
perceived to be "components" of some kind of "system". These
tubes or cylinders are moved from a horizontal orientation to
that of a vertical one. Then they are placed within a larger,
hollow tube and lifted upwards.
-- Other concepts associated with the general target but
not necessarily related to one another are:
--- Someone is perceived saying "You're hurtin me.
Your hurting me".
--- The smell of dried fish or squid and "birds
singing".
--- Some sort of relationship to the term "Syrian".
The smell of oil.
A spring-like object slowing uncoiling and
recoiling (enclosure la).

(S/NF/SG/LIMDIS) Following are perceived highlights from
each source. The period covered is 22, 25 and 26 October 1993.
The target vessel known as the i. is
located off the coast of a sandy beach or sandy area w rocks.
Foreign black haired men with dark eyes are somehow associated
with this vessel. The people who are native to the area where
(S/NF/SG/LIMDIS) Source A:
the vessel is located are like savages.
-- The vessel has explosives aboard and a long thin
golden line emanating from the vessel indicates radar
capabilities. These explosives can cause considerable damage
to areas including fire on impact. Intelligence related
activities may be monitored from the air.
- (S/NF/SG/LIMDIS) Source B:
-- The tar et vessel is located off of

the east coast of a land mass within the band between the equator
and the Tropic of Capricorn. This vessel is much faster than
others of a similar type. It is perceived that there is a
possible "military" configuration within the vessel although its
exter' as the a earance of a commercial cargo vessel. If in
fact, is the true name of the vessel, its aka name
includes the letters ".... ANTA" and "MY.....". The bow of this
vessel angles up more than the normal for a similar ship.
-- There is a very unfamiliar circular or ovoid
structure situated mid deck on this vessel (see enclosures
lb(2), 1c, id(l) and 1g). It has three levels exposed above
the deck and a hollow tube which penetrates down into the

--- A male with long, black hair who occupies an
important role in the operation of this vessel.
--- A truncated object which "pops up"; this action
is reminiscent of a submarine's "con tower"
breaking the surface of the water.
--- An object with "twin barrels".
- (S/NF/SG/LIMDIS) Source C:
The vessel has armaments that are on board which are
thick and tubular with points at one end (see enclosure lh).
These objects look like small missiles. The armaments are
either enclosed, encased, or secured. They can be opened up with
an automatic motion. The armaments are perceived to be white or
silver and shiny in color.
-- It is perceived that the vessel has the capability to
"see" at very long range. A light can surround a very large area
and "see" out at long distance. It cannot be determined at this
time if this capability is with the vessel itself or if it is an
independent object or thing (something like radar) that is
associated with the vessel. It is perceived that the vessel has
powerful armaments to protect itself.
-- People associated with the vessel are
dark skinned.
-- Terrorism and/or insurgency related activities are
associated with this vessel.
-- Small aircraft are somehow associated with the
scenario.

(S/NF/SG/LIMDIS) Following are perceived highlights from
each source. The period covered is 29 October - 2 November 1993.
- (S/NF/SG/LIMDIS) Source A:
-- The vessel is in a very warm climate and is
geographically located in the south. Route of travel includes a
west, southwestern direction. Dark skinned people are associated
with this vessel.
-- The cargo consists of destructive weaponry. The
armaments are long and linear in design with destructive agents,
which may cause an orange fire. The vessel is elusive and long
with one mast that has the color gray on it. Four men and an
element of inactivity are directly associated with this vessel.
DATA SUMMARIES
- (S/NF/SG/LIMDIS) Source B:
-- The ship's ultimate course is in a northerly
direction. It is currently stopped near a point of land that is
extremely rocky and jagged. This promontory extends out into the
water and forms small, isolated precipices reminiscent of an
island chain, only on a minuter scale.
- (S/NF/SG/LIMDIS) Source C:
The target vessel is white in color. The vessel has
a complex communications system on board. The vessel is
currently sailing northeast of its original destination. The
vessel can be considered a medium sized vessel. The vessel is in
communications with a radio tower. A military activity or
mission is associated with the vessel. There is a circular
object in the front of the vessel.
