This area, appearing an photography of
and listed in CIA./PIC/JMCI?-7/60 as a possible military installation 1/, has
now been identified as a military garrison a.nd tra~.ning area. The area
consists of a small military depot and ba,rra,cl~s site, a storage site, a pa?ob-
able storage and maintenance site, a tanl~ driver training site, and a tans.
.moving target range. It covers 3 square miles, not including the tanlr range,
whose limits cannot be determined.
't'he area is situated in .rolling hills near the Mures River, in a prima-
rily agricultural region interspersed with woods. It is served by- rail and by
goad road facilities. The storage site and probable storage and maintenance
site are road served only, The degree of security cannot 'be determined
