A qualified Western observer noted a third type of hexagonal SAM site in the Moscow area. 1/ This authority stated that the three SAM sites are in the vicinity of the following cooed fates (See Figure 1): 55035'N / 37?20'E 14 nm SW of Moscow 55039'N / 37?20'E 12 _mm SW of Moscow 55042'N / 370151E 13 mm WSW of Moscow Line drawings of the two sites on which photography is available are included In this brief (Figures 2 a:~).d 3). The first SAM site (Figure 2) is only partially covered by photography. Three launch revetments and a guidance facility, all under construction, are visible on the photograph. The launch revetments are posI tioned in a fan-shaped patter?? with the guidance revetments in the center.
