Proposed Downgrading of Classified Documents for
Cognitive Sciences Laboratory Volume 1 of 2 (U)

Ref: DIA Letter, S-64,039/PAG-TA, 15 April 1994, subject:
Document Declassification Procedures (U) (encl 1).
SG1J 1. (S/NF) As per discussions between PAG-TA,
and PSP, enclosed is volume 1 of 2, SAICMP94.009, with
SAIC's Cognitive Sciences Laboratory proposed recommendations
for downgrading (encl 2). At enclosure 3 is an index of the
documents included in volume 1 of 2. At enclosure 4 is our
review of the documents with recommended changes including
those recommended by SAIC.
2. (C/NF) As per previous discussions some of the documents
enclosed for review are not complete documents. In those
cases only the classified pages of the document(s) were
forwarded for review.
3. (C/NF) This office is currently reviewing volume 2 of 2.
This volume will be forwarded as soon as our internal review
is completed.
4. (S/NF) SAIC's Cognitive Sciences Laboratory is on a no
cost to the government contract extension for the remainder of
FY94. As a result, we request that your review of volume 1 be
completed NLT 17 Aug 94.
