Washington 25, D C.
On 18 July, the Technical Security Group of the Office of Special

technical equipment. This equipment had to be obtained within a
matter of hours.
Because of the support that has been given us in the past, and
the excellent and close relationship that exists between our agencies,
we turned to pour tech people for assistance. Through the efforts of
your STAT
the research, supply and funding transactions, which ordinarily con-
sume several days, was accomplished in about two hours. The success
ful completion of our mission can be attributed primarily to the
support which you gave us.
I wish to express our gratitude for the help that we have received
on this and several other occasions, and assure you of our sincere
desire to continue the very close working relationship between OSI
and CIA.
Sincerely,
