2. Services
a. Electrical requirements: 208 volt, 3-phase, 60-cycle,
4-wire, protected for 40 amperes. Overload protection
and disconnect.
b. Air: 120 PSIG. 40 CFM Free discharge. Oil free.
Note: We have found Quincy Compressor Company,
Quincy, Illinois, Model F325, 5 H.P. Motor,
80 gal. storage, 3-phase, 220-440 V, 60-cycle
to be adequate.
c. Water: Hot - 160?F - 6 gallons per minute. Flow with
minimum recovery of 1 gallon per minute.
Cold - 6 gallons per minute.

d. Drain: Floor drain with not less than 1-1/4" line.
3. Atmospheric Controls - Room temperature must be maintained at
a level not below 65?F and not in excess of 80?F.
4. Illumination processing room must have
appropriate safelighting. We recommend series OC Safelight
Filter. Four 25-watt lamps with filters and properly placed
should be sufficient.

During the period that the original Processors were
introduced for field testing up untl. - e presen time, a number
of_chan es have been made in the basic unit. At the request of
0 I am listing the most recent improvements which are
now .on p esent models but were not on models tested six months
ago.
1. Lens sled has been motorized.
2. Finger stock has been redesigned and now
operates by solenoid and an electric
footswitch.
3. Hydraulic pump motor has been changed from
1/4 H.P. to 1/3 H.P. and the motor and
pump assembly moved to opposite side for
easier servicing.
4.' A vertical water knife operated by hydraulic
cylinder and cam was incorporated to increase
operator's visibility when loading and unloading
paper.
5.' Linkage.pin to the turntable solenoid has been
enlarged and material specs changed to SAE 4140 steel.
6. Wash shield has been modified to remove the interference
at 1:1 enlargement.'
7. Handles.on the negative masking adjustment have been
knurled.
