2. (S/NF/SK) The target was the US Air Force complex at MacDill
Air Force base. This facility is a primary advanced fighter
aircraft training installation with a Joint Service Headquarters
(USCENTCOM) located on the installation. MacDill is adjacent to
the Gulf of Mexico, near Tampa, Florida and boasts some fo the
finest on-post fishing, boating and swimming facilities as any US
military installation. The 1.6 miles runway (with several
shorter connected runways) is capable of landing and taking off
any conventional known military or civilian aircraft.
3. (S/NF/SK) In the opinion of the Interviewer, the Source did
not acquire the proper site for reasons which cannot be
determined. The data provided by Source during the official
session could not be adequately correlated to any known
components of the site.
