2. ) The target was the Mt. Rushmore State Park in the
Black Hills of South Dakota. The magnificently carved faces of
four of this nation's President's have been carved into the solid
cI iffs of Mt.-Rushmore. Hundreds of feet high, the site is located
in the wild areas of the Black Hills and at: thousands of
visitors annually to view this masterpiece of the carvers art.
3. ) Source correctly identified the, "massive, large,
big" component of the sight and oddly enough mentioned the concept
of "peering" in the very first set of descriptives. Later Source
described the unusual concept of "people floating, high up" and the
idea that there were "divided or separate components of the site.
The four figures are, in fact distinctively separated and of course
being carved into the side of a mountain, they would. appear to be
high up and to the "Right brain" remote viewer, they might appear
to be floating. Finally, Source described the site as having
historic significance, a "dedication" and a purpose, "not being
used for the reason it was built". It should be noted that this
last descriptive was accompanied by a curious set of comments
related to the idea of food and drink and a party like atmosphere
in the area. Perhaps the combination o+ a somber appearing
monument mixed with the omnipresent snack bars may have caused this
rather caustic analysis of the use of the site.
4. ) On the more negative side, many of Source's
descriptives bore little correlation to the known aspects of the
site. Source seemed to focus on several geometric aspects of the
target, e.g., "circles, triangles, squares, semi-circies" etc with
little further data to explain why these shapes may have been
important to the site. Source further seem to "convinced" that
there was a "movement" component to the site which can not be
easily correlated. Finally, Source perceived the presence of
"babies, high up" on three separate occasions which again could not
be easily correlated. A continuing theme pertaining to
the"insideloutside" components of the target was an Interviewer
induced drive, erroneously introduced and which inevitably caused
the Source to become disoriented and confused since, obviously,
there is no "inside" component to this site. This error by the
Interviewer did not become evident until the end of the session but
not until some damage to Source's reporting sequence had occurred.
