4. {S/SK/NF) 049 reported that the is currently {03
1630E Oct 90) located at 2740 S/8155 a vessel is
dangerously low in the water. The seas are becoming heavier and
the vessel is 'barely keeping its nose above water.' There are
portions of the vessel which are missing, e.g., the integrity of
the vessel is incomplete. There was a small fire (with an
associated smell of ozone) which was caused by a piece of metal
which was hitting against a group of cux?ving tube shaped objects.
The fire itself was small and did not spread vessel-wide.
However, this fire is linked to the current condition of the
vessel. The vessel can move forward but is drifting to the side,
causing its course to be at an angle rather than straight ahead.
The vessel will not be able to maneuver at alI if the seas became
any heavier. There are 7-$ individuals on board,
5. {SJSK/NF) 052 reported that the is currently {03
1500E Oct 90) located at 3550 S/8515 W. Its survivors are
currently located at 3330 Sl8120 W, just north of Archipelago
Juan Fernandez. The vessel did not sink, but all on board did
abandon the vessel for a life raft, The people are currently all
together.
6. {S/SK/NF) Attached at TAB A is a map plotting all the
viewers' identified location. At. TAB B are copies of all the
