SUMMARY ANALYSIS
REMOTE VIEWING (RV) SESSION CD-43
1. (S) This report documents a remote viewing session conducted in
compliance with a request from SOD, J3, OJCS, Pentagon, Washington, DC.
The purpose of this session was to provide information relevant to the
hostage situation in Iran.
2. (S) The remote viewer's impressions of the target are provided as raw
intelligence data and as such have not been subjected to any intermediate
analysis, evaluation or collation. Interpretation and use of the informa-
tion provided is the responsibility of the requestor.
3. (S) The protocol used for this session is detailed in the document
Grill Flame Protocol, AMSAA Applied Remote Viewing Protocol (S), undated.
4. (S) Following is a transcript of the viewer's impressions during the
remote viewing session. At TAB A is target cuing information provided
the remote viewer.
5. (S) The remote viewer was asked to find Richard Morefield, identify his
location, any other hostages, and describe physical security at this
location. The viewer described Morefield as being located on the 2d or 3d
floor of a flat-roofed building which is located west of a large city.
The remote viewer obtained little other data during this session.
6. (S) The remote viewer stated that he had no drawings to execute concerning
this session.

#14: This will be a remote viewing session for 10 June 1980,
mission time is 1400 hours.
All right #08.5 the time is now 1400 hours. Your mission
for today is to find Richard Morefield. I want you now
to relax, relax, focus your concentration on Morefield.
I want you to go to his location, and once you're next
to him let me know.
#08.5: I got him.
#14: 1 want you now to look around, look around your present
surroundings. Describe what you see.

.....looks like a, a front porch of row America.....
It's a big old house. Oh, okay. I see. Morehead is...
daydreaming about a big, old wooden home that is somewhere,
somewhere in the United States. I, I just plugged in.
I.....give me a minute.
Ummm...he appears to be on a, an upper floor, second or
third floor of a building .......... here's..uh..trees
outside ...........................I saw people outside...
sitting around talking. I don't think they're concerned
about him at all. I tried to see the whole building. I
just can't do it. Not too far away is...uh...barren hills.
Seemed greener towards the valley ......................

#08.4: I don't know. I keep getting glimpses of a pretty
good size city ..............I think, I think ...west
of a pretty good size city. Imagery is not very good.
#14: I want you to scan this location. Give us the clues
that will help us identify this location.
+15 #08.4: 1 don't....I'm sorry. Just not coming through today......
........ See lots of imagery, but nothing that looks
unique enough to pin down.
#14: Okay. Why don't you just talk about the imagery that
you are receiving. I have no further direct questions.
Just give me what you are perceiving.
#08.4: It's like a..... looking around...through a bunch of....
uninteresting buildings... trying to find something that
...is unique. It seems rather dull and gray...........
A lot of walls. I'm just so terribly bored with this.
It's an extreme effort to hold in there.
#14: Okay. Don't, don't exercise anymore effort at this time.
Just let yourself kind of float in there. Just float and
just talk about anything that your mind and consciousness
perceives. Anything, no matter how ridiculous it is.
+20 #08.4: Well, ...it's just a flat top building, two or three stories
high. It's tan. People often come to the roof of this
building. Grass seems sparce in the vicinity, but there
are some trees that look like...look like eucalyptus.

1. (S) The remote viewer has been exposed to open source news media
information as well as classified overhead imagery and numerous photogra-
phs of hostage personnel. He knew he would be working against the hostage
situation in Iran.
2. (5) At the time of the session the remote viewer was shown the attached
photograph and was asked to find Richard Morefield. He was asked to identify
Morefield's location, identify any other hostages, and describe physical
security at this location.
