REMARKS Arrangements for the ZA-proposed GRILL FLAME
Steering Committee meeting have been completed. Date/
time: 30 Oct, 1400-1500 hrs. Place: Dr LaBerge
office, Rm 3E998. All members will attend (Dr Davis
may have to be on Hill for confirmation hearings.)
ZA should be aware early on of the extraordinary
sensitives he will no doubt enc unter during the meeting.
For example, Adm Murphy's XO ma several remarks that
set the tone: (a) "...after all Adm Murphy is the
senior principal, (b) "...don't take it as a threat,
but Adm Murphy will be at the meeting," (This in ref to
a reaction to the first proposed date which came when
Adm would be out of town.), and (c) "...assume the
meeting will be in Alm Murphy's office."
I will have the agenda to all principals NLT 27 Oct.
We will provide steno support for complete minutes.
