1. (C) ORIGIN OF ACTION: In October 1981, DCG-I recommended a review of the
GRILL FLAME OPSEC Program. The DCG-I suggested that a formal evaluation by the
902d MI Group be considered. (TAB A)
2. (C) DISCUSSION: A preliminary review by GRILL FLAME personnel determined that
an informal OPSEC review had been initiated in November. 1979, while the program was
under OACSI control, but was never completed. The sensitivity of this project de-
mands a complete and continuing security evaluation. Thus, contact has been made
with the Security Support Detachment, 902d MI Group and, a preliminary scope of work
was prepared. (TAB B)
