SUBJECT: CENTER LANE Interview Summary - HU-1045/8310/01 (U)
1. (S/CL-3/NOFORN) On 181000 October 1983, source #01 was
interviewed concerning the activities of an unidentified
suspect between the hours of 0700 and 0830 on 24 July 1983.
The project 8310 sponsor had provided a photograph of the
suspect (see Incl 1).
2. (S/CL-3/NOFORN) For this interview source was shown the
photograph provided by sponsor and directed to focus his
attention on the suspect during the appropriate time. No
other identifying data was provided to source. All other
information was held for use during subsequent interviews.
3. (U) A transcript of the interview was prepared (see Incl
2).
4. (U) A DA Form 341 (Agent Report) was not prepared for the
sponsor. Information related by source did not appear to be
relevant to the sponsor's area of interest.

#66: This will be a CENTER LANE interview for 1000 hours
18 October 1983. Relax and concentrate now. Relax
and focus your attention on the individual in the
photograph I've shown you. Concentrate solely and
completely on the individual in the photograph I've
shown you and move through time to the morning 0700
to 0830, 23 July 1983. Focus on the individual 23
July 1983, 7:00 to 8:30 in the morning and describe
his location to me.
#01: ..............Just see him in a conference
room,..very ornate....with three other people.
#66: Describe the elements which make you call this a
conference room, describe the furniture.
#01: ...Large long table,..maps on the wall, stark
chairs,..papers on the table.... ornate walls. I
got a ...... some kind of tassels or...designer type
things hanging on the wall,..cord and tassels.
#66: Okay. You're sitting at a table with other
people. This room has ornate walls. Tell me a
little bit more about this room.
#01: ...It's not large. It's in a ah ..... it's a
partially damaged building. ..........Sense it's
either....just before or just after a public
exposure type of presentation.
#66: Okay, what is he actually doing? Describe his
activity as he sits at the table, 23 July 1983,
7:00 in the morning.
#01: ....Just speaking. He's like standing and
speaking. ...... Some kind of a politically
oriented ...... ah ........ It's a political meeting,
political gathering.
#66: Okay, tell me about the items or things he has with
him at the table, items or things that belong to
him here at the table.
#01: See a briefcase, see a...it looks like charts
or graphs. ........ Just a minute ........ It's
documents.

#01: ...... Pointof some kind, some longated thing in
his hand. There's a microphone immediately front
and center. Ah ......
#66: And what else does he have with him?
#01: .......... I see guns now.
#66: Okay.
#01: ....... This is the guns laying on the table....and
ah...explosive devices or (mumble). None of them,
none of these are armed,..just sitting there.
#66: I have no further questions about the room, and the
items in the room, the items belonging to him and
now I want to give you an opportunity to explore
beyond the confines of my questions.
#01: ......... ..........Keep ah..going and focusing on
a stack ofpapers..that have figure drawn in them,
sketches of people ............. That's all I got.
