SUBJECT: CENTER LANE Interview Summary - HU-1032/8308/08 (U)
1. (S/CL-3/NOFORN) On 110900 August 1983, source #08 was interviewed
concerning personnel, activities, and equipment within a building
unidentified to him. The project 8308 sponsor had provided geographic
coordinates of the building and photograph of the building (see Incl
1).
2. (S/CL-3/NOFORN) For this interview source was provided the
coordinates of the building. Other information provided by the
sponsor was shown to the source after the interview as "feedback"
since this interview provided the essential information required by
sponsor.
3. (U) A transcript of the interview was prepared (see Incl 2).
4. (U) A DA Form 341 (Agent Report) was prepared for the sponsor.
This report related the salient points of the interview. (see Incl 3).

#08: Now from a...from a. high overview appears to be a
southwestern shore, of a country. The a...the
a. point of interest is a....thirty, to ---thirty
to fifteen miles east of a the .. ..
southwestern.. a.. yeah portion of that line that
goes up and down. It's very high. ....... This is
the a ....the a ....a ..point of interest is a ..very
a ...cluttered . ...... + .There a ...this is
a ....system of a ....white hygienic looking
a..pipes, conduits, a...bulbous type dome.

#08: I'm too damn close now, I..it's cluttered by a..by
all of this a...research appearing.... appearing
center.
#66: Okay, let's go two hundred feet over this area.
When I read the coordinates again, we will go
specifically two hundred feet right above this.

rectangle of focuses of the building to the right,
there's a road in front of the building with a....
street lamps that are a little weird.
#66: Okay, now what is it that's immediately to the left
of the building?
#08: ........There's two things, there's...a small
rectangular ... building and....there's something...
in the left background-of the building

#66: Um, um. You don't have, this whitish thing, you
don' t have to name it or tell me what it is, but
tell me its shape and so forth.
#08: .....it has a peculiarity, it's...it looks out of
proportion because it's higher...higher than, about
three times as 2 and half, three times the height,
it's got a shortened-base.
#66: That's correct.
#08: And it is a....though you don't...you don't see it
from the outside this...there's something again
about a dome in there, a...hypenbolic dome.
#66: Say again.
#08: A parabolic dome, there's something about a dome
associated with that building.
#66: Okay. A parabolic dome?
#08: Yeah.
#66: All right. Now this building with the white thing
next to it on the left, the building is the target
I'm interested in.
#08: Oh, you want to come back to the building.
#66: All right.
#08: The little building or the big one?
#66: I think I want the big building.
#08: Oh, all right.
#66: So let's go inside the big building. Now inside
this big building, describe activity, personnel and
equipment.

intertwined, so let me break it down.

#08: The a...most of the a..a personnel are wearing
these a..these a lab frocks ..... some white, some

got to tell you what it's not, it's not chemical,

#66: It's not necessary to label the type of work, if
you just describe the activity.
#08: No, it's a flavor I haven't encountered and I 'm
trying to describe it.
#66: That's fine.
#08: It has nothing to do with physics, it has nothing
to do with chemistry.
#66: Perhaps just the physical actions of the personnel
would help.
#08: Again the ...aspect of lack of dust in the ..the
a...a sense of a...the very hygienic area comes
into place as if this were....as it is important
and this were and... there's something about...part
or partially ..the. object or the work having to do
with ......with the work in a. vacuum or the
apparatus in a vacuum. ...... I do see....a control
panels of ..with switches and stuff.
#66: Okay.
#08: The (mumble) is very high, as high as the wall,
they took up from floor to ceiling.
#66: All right.
#08: I get a this impression that it's not...it's
directive, it's not-it's not electronic research,
sophisicated of the, the work is not research in
electronics, it's direction, control...... of an
apparatus I think, I guess.
#66: All right. So in one wing of the building, we have
people that are dressed in some sort a---
#08: Scientific frocks, you know the guys that go around
the lab with these--
#66: Lab style frocks.
#08: Yeah.

#66: And we have some--
#08: --Down to the knees and unbuttoned in front.
#66: Fine. And describe the sex of these people.
#08: I had my eye just on one or two guys,
a ..males, ...early sixties, ...a ..this a ...boy this
is weird....a....round, you know round...rimmed
glasses. ......I just got attached to this guy and
following him around.
#66: Um, mmm . So at least one of the individuals is a
sixty year old male that wears round rimmed glasses.
#08: Yeah, in fact he is quite short, 5'3", 5'4", bald,
bald and a ..a ..gray sideburns and the rest of his
hair is quite bald really, just a few stands on.
#66: You say he's short?
#08: Yeah, yeah, certainly not more than 5'4", 5'5"
maybe .
#66: Okay. Now this is one wing has these people
dressed in these lab type frocks.
#08: Yes, the only place I've been.
#66: And the it has some sort of a electronic control
panel that directs something.
#08: Yeah, yeah.
#66: All right. Let's look at the rest of the building.
#08: I'm in the other wing now. They're also a ...a I
mentioned this before but I better get it out again
if we're going to go anyplace else.
#66: That's fine.
#08: The a. other people that are not dressed in white,
but they're also wearing grayish blue, a..yeah,
grayish blue frocks. And they kind of, the white
frocks go the wing, I don't particularly know where
these other guys go. ....This is a three or
four story building. ..They, I also got to say
this. The peculiarity, ..the street lights are

weird, they're not like ours, ...they have a ...they
have metal shades ...that I haven' t seen in a long
time.
#66: Okay.
#08: Okay now, the building is a....the building is, ..I
see three stories.
#66: Okay, we have a larger rectangular building, I'm
interested in what's going on, the personnel,
activity and equipment inside the building.
#08: .............Okay, the a..white frock people are
very small entity of the a ...a blue frock people
have the..bulk of the activity there is
a..director. ........Has to do with the...with
maintenance or regulation of-electricity,
electrical current somehow. .....I don't a
.........when I asked for equipment, the only thing
I see are... insulator pipes ......about 4 and 1/2
inches in diameter. ......And maybe 12 feet long,
'cause I lose it.
#66: Um, um. All right. I have no further questions
about this building. But I would like you to take
a moment now and explore this building.
#08: Yeah, the a..this aspect of the gray-blue frockers
a..I should be able, I can address to it another
time, it's, it goes fuzzy on me. I'm quite sure I
can get it another time, we'll concentrate just on
that . ...There's ...there's a workroom and there's
those pipes (mumble) . I can't make heads or tails
of the damn thing. I don't have anything more.

AGENT REPORT

On 11 August 1983, Source HU-08 was interviewed concerning
personnel activities, and equipment within an unidentified
building. Source stated substantially as follows:
This was a three or four story building. Inside the
building there was an area which appeared to be "very
hygienic" (not further identified) Which contained control
panels "with switches and stuff" (not further identified) that
extended from floor to ceiling. Activity in this area
appeared to involve the direction or control of an apparatus
(not further identified).
Personnel in this building were dressed in "frocks" or
body covering clothing of two distinct colors. Personnel
dressed in white worked in one wing of the building, the
hygienic area. Personnel dressed in grayish blue may have
worked all over the building and appeared to be involved in
"maintenance or regulation of electricity, electrical current
somehow" (not further identified). There were more personnel
dressed in grayish blue than in white. One individual dressed
in white was described as being male, early sixties, wearing
round rimmed glasses, bald with gray sideburns, and 5'3" to
5'4" tall (not further identified).
Source was unable to provide detailed descriptions of
equipment within the building. There was a parabolic shape
(not further identified) associated with the building. Source
also reported the presence of "insulator pipes" approximately
4 and 1/2 inches in diameter and perhaps 12 feet long (not
further identified).
No further amplifying information concerning SUBJECT was
obtained from Source during this interview.
