Two large generally circular areas at the
east edge of Riga SA-2 SAM SiteB-03have been
observed on KEYHOLE photography of -
One area, is 560 feet NNE of the
center of the site; the other, is
630 feet east of the center of the site. Both areas
are irregularly shaped (though generally cir-
cular) and appear to be under construction. In
1/ a small clearing was ob-
served in the present position of the NNE area.
Construction here appears to have started in
2/ A missile-hold revetment was

Riga SA-2 SAM Site B-03 is located 10 nm
NNE of Riga. The site, which has a "link" con-
figuration, was first identified in - 25X1 D
_ 1/ and appears to be fully equipped and
operational. It has two missile-hold revetments,
one of which has been expanded since the site
was identified; construction was possibly under- 25X1 D

ing on- photography. This revetment,
75 by 65 feet and rectangular, is 550 feet SSW of
the center of the site. An irregularly shaped
area, approximately 140 by 75 feet, 300 feet
SE of the revetment and 620 feet south of the

The site support area is 1,150 feet WNW of
the center of the site and contains one building
150 by 40 feet, 4 buildings 60 by 20 feet, and 2
buildings approximately 100 by 75 feet. The
three northernmost buildings and surrounding
area have been added since the site was identi-
fied; construction on them was underway in -
