HEMISYNC SEMINARS
The purposes of the Hemisync Seminars are to familiarize the individual
with the methods and techniques developed by the Institute, and to explore
the application of such processes in specific areas of interest. The Semi-
nars are open only to Professional Members of the Institute and their as-
sociates.
Each Seminar is conducted by a Professional Member or researcher ex-
perienced in Institute methods and techniques. The early periods are
devoted to exposure of the participant to Hemisync as a subjectively di-
rect and personal experience. This is followed by demonstrations, re-
ports, and discussion of related applications then completed and avail-
able. The later periods are devoted to synthesis of appropriate patterns
of treatment in the designated areas of specialization. The Center, on
the Institute grounds in Virginia, is uniquely designed and equipped to s
serve these functions.
The Sessions are held periodically at the Center in Virginia, gener-
ally,on a long weekend from Thursday evening through Sunday afternoon.
Attendance is held to a maximum of twenty, with food, housing, and ma-
terials included. Registration Fee per participant is $285.00. Reser-
vations in advance...a deposit of $50.00 is required due to a limited
space available.
The following Professional Seminars have thus far been scheduled in
1980. Each will be conducted provided there is sufficient interest in
the proposed content. A Professional member may attend more than one
Seminar if he so desires.
STRESS-TENSION: Control, learning to cope, perspectives.
GENERAL ANALYSIS TECHNIQUES: In group and individual therapy.
CHRONIC PAIN CONTROL: Specific treatment, familial ancillaries.
WORKING WITH CHILDREN: Autistic, disturbed, retarded.
DE-HABITUATION: Drug and alcohol abuse, treatment of both physiological
and psychological addiction.
ADVANCED LEARNING: Accelerated, rate techniques, synthesized experiences,
problem solving.
REHABILITATION: New approaches to behavior modification in prison inmates
and similar personalities.
TERMINAL CASE: For treatment of both patient and.family.
