WTTG, a Washington D.C. television station, aired an article on
29 October, 1984 concerning a new techinque which teaches children
to be so psychically sensitive that, among other things, they can
"see" pictures in magazines with their hands, while their eyes are
completely blindfolded. Although this is not the major goal of the
course, it is used as an indicator of the child's progress. The
actual end goal of the course is to develop an extremely high degree
of psychic sensitivity within the individual, to the point where he
can easily recognize and use the psychic abilities which are natural
to him. A very impressive demonstration was given on the show.
Out of interest in the possible applications of this technique to
our operational and training needs, I contacted the TV station.
They referred me to WIS TV in Columbia, South Carolina, which had
originated the article. Upon calling that station, I was given the

I called B.U.M.E. Inc. on 15 Nov 84, and the man in charge of it
told me that this technique was invented in Mexico 18 years ago, and
that schools for it were widespread in that country. He said that
this was the first such school in the U.S., and that he would send
me all the information necessary by mail.
