REMARKS Dr Vorona just informed me that Rose has asked
for an update briefing. Vorona will do it tomorrow.
I provided a number of key briefing points on the
Army program. Please note that Vorona indicated that
yesterday he called the Project Officer at MICOM
(Redstone} for data, but only part of it came through
clearly. T am disturbed that Dr Vorona has taken to
telphoning our separate program elements for info.
Strongly recommend that IS or ZA ask Dr Vorona to
eel with-the DA staff on the matter. It was MICOM
-who put aut bad info to Rose's sta f last summer,
which resulted in a massive effort to straighten the
issue out. We certainly don't need a repeat. It isa~sa
notable that once again the initiative for update
briefing came from Rose's office and not from DoD.
