C. 20505 The Joint Chiefs of Staff have allocated four (4) spaces for the Thirty-ninth Class, Armed Forces Staff College, to be utilized by your agency. It is indeed a pleasure, therefore, to invite you to select four representatives from your agency to attend that class. The reporting period for the Thirty-ninth Class is 24 January - 28 January 1966; the convening date is 31 January 1966; and the graduation date is 24 June 1966. Although your representatives are not required to report to the College prior to 28 January 1966, it would be to their advan- tage to arrive early in Reporting Week for administrative processing and orientation. Adequate quarters are available for bachelor representatives or for representatives attending without their families; however, on- station family quarters are not normally available. A delay of approximately ninety (90) to one hundred twenty (120) days may be anticipated after the Atomic Energy Commission receives such a request before a "Q" Clearance is granted.
