SUN STREAK Quarterly Reports (U)
1-00: DT (Dr. Vorona)
1. (S/SK/WNINTEL) The mission of the SUN STREAK Prototype
Operational Group (POG) is to undertake operational intelligence
applications using an aspect of psychoenergetics known as Remote
Viewing (RV). An integral nart of that mission is to train
--SG1J personnel in RV. are
responsible for the development and implementation 0? the in-
house training program. Included with the attached SUN STREAK
Activities Report is their training report for first quarter of
CY 87.
j
2. (S/SK/WNINTEL) The SUN STREAK Activities Report for first
quarter CY 87 covers the number of training sessions, the number
of operations and operational sessions, and the number of Utility
Assessment targets and sessions worked for the first quarter of
CY 87.
3. (S/SK/WNINTEL) During the last weeks of the first quarter CY
87, two additional viewers became operational bringing the number
of Soul'-ces to six. Upon completion of Stage IV training, a
viewer is considered capable of becoming operational. Source
#079 completed Extended Remote Viewing (ERV) training and Source
#011 completed stage IV of Coordinate Remote Viewing (CRV)
training. Source #011 will now begin Stage V training with stage
VI to follow.
4. (S/SK/WNINTEL) The output continued to be high during this
quarter, despite the fact that one viewer spent five weeks in the
hospital and on convalescent leave and a second viewer took five
weeks of unprogramed leave. The addition of the two viewers
mentioned in paragraph 3 and the return of the office to full
strength should make the upcoming quarter the most productive
quarter to date.

5. (S/SK/WNINTEL) Morale among the viewers continues to be
good. The viewers see the work they are doing as being
worthwhile and the coming on line of the two new sources has
given everyone an emotional lift.
6. (U) The second quarter CY 87 report will be prepared in Jun
87.

2. (S/SK/WNINTEL) The attached Type of Sessions chart shows the
distribution of sessions over the three basic activities of this
office: Operations, Utility Assessment, and Training. Since two
more sources can now contribute to Operations and Utility
Assessments, next quarter's production should see an increased
ratio of intelligence related sessions in relation to training
sessions.

2. (S/SK/WNINTEL) First Quarter Training Highlights (U)
a. (S/SK/WNINTEL) Sources #003, #018, #079, and #101 were
dropped from ARDBA training during this quarter. Both source #011
and #021 continue to display a greater-than-statistically-average
ARDBA performance. ARDBA session scoring criteria and individual
source evaluations are available for review in the unit training
files.
b. (S/SK/WNINTEL) The integration of both source #011 and #079
into operations began during the last week of the quarter. Source
#079 completed ERV training on 13 March. Performance over 21 ERV
training sessions indicate that the source experienced a breakthrough
towards mid-quarter, after which achievement levels remained
generally high, (i.e., excellent target-related data correspondence).
Source #011 completed CRV Stage 4 training on 26 March and is
scheduled to begin Stage 5 training during the second week of April
87. Performance over 29 CRV training sessions portray a steadily
increasing skill level, with the concept of site "intangibles"
requiring the most time to master. Detailed individual session
results and accompanying evaluations are maintained in unit training
files and are available to those who require access.
