SUMMARY ANALYSIS
REMOTE VIEWING (RV) SESSION
1. (S) This report documents a Remote Viewing (RV) session
conducted in compliance with a request from SOD, J3, OJCS,
Pentagon, S,'ashington, D.C. The purpose of the session was
to provide information relevant to the hostage situation in
the U.S, Embassy compound in Teheran, Iran.
2. (S) The remote viewer's impressions of the target are
provided as raw intelligence data and as such have not been
subjected to any intermediate analysis, evaluation or collation.
Interpretation and use of the information provided is the
responsibility of the requestor.
3. (S) The protocol used for this session is detailed in the
document, Grill Flame Protocol, AMSAA Applied Remote Viewing
Protocol?(S), undated.

1. (5) The viewer has been exposed to open source news media
information, classified overhead imagery and photographs of many
of the hostages. He knew he would be working against the hostage
situation in Iran.
2. (S) At the time of the session, the viewer was asked to describe
an area referred to as area "A." He was shown overhead imagery of the
US Embassy compound in Teheran, Iran. The area designated as area
"A" was pointed out to the viewer and identified as the Embassy proper.
We have been specifically asked by the requesting agency to-provide
the above information to the viewer. The imagery is not included
herein due to its classification.
3. (S) This viewer has not been targeted against the area on the
compound in the past. The viewer did mention, though, that he felt
he had been in this building before.

#14 This will be a remote viewing session (edited for
security).
All right #8.5 you have had a chance to look at some
overhead imagery of the Embassy compound in Iran
pointed out to you in area known as area "A" which is
the Embassy building proper. I want you now to relax,
concentrate, focus your attention. I want you to go
to this building, go inside and describe what you see
inside.
#8.5 Sure is noisy.
#14 Just relax and wait until the noise goes away.
PAUSE
#8.5 There's..uh..there's some confusion on my part. When
you said area "A." I felt..uh..sense of urgency..uh..
+05 panicky feeling..uh..that somebody made a mistake. It
was area "C". I remembered that you did say area "A."
I just wanted to say that. I don't know why.
I have no idea where ..... where area C is even. In
the right wing of the building I just looked at on a
lower floor I saw big, heavy, very heavy canvass bag...
+06 reinforced,... something in this room under big dropcloth.
No people so far.

describe as you go. Pay particular attention to
areas that draw your interest and attention.
Uh...near the center of building.... lower floor...
ground floor.. .four or five people in .....
Describe these people.
I guess it's a lobby. A lobby like space. Everybody
looking at this one person.
Describe the person they are looking at.
Uh..one of 'em..ahh..either holding one person...
don't seem to belong to this group .... one that everybody
is looking at. One of the group is either holding hand
or with both hands or shaking hands or holding hands..
One individual is, is dressed better, dressed better.
It's funny, funny...I get the distinct impression that..
ahh.... the feeling was... .revetment (phonetic). I don't
think revetment could be here in the lobby. I--- saw a
sandbag. Sandbags.
PAUSE
I think I've .... I think I've been here before.
PAUSE
+17 Second floor-----pause-----this is very, very quiet on
this floor. I...looks it...the wing on the left.. .back
at the center of the building.
I-I-I just saw a vehicle crash through something
+20 nearby! Can't make it out really. Vehicle went through
fence or wall of building. It just..uh..it's awful
close, close. There's excitement on, on the ground the
+22 other building. I, I think it's this building.

#8.5 I, I better go back inside .------pause ------- it's
just awful noisy. I keep forgetting where I am.
+24 #14 Ok. This dam noise is getting ridiculous. Let's
call a stop to this session.
#8.5 I wonder where that goddam vehicle crash was. It
must have been very close. Goddam thing was clean
off the ground about 4 or 5 feet.. .part of...it hit
something and it went ...went in the air...I saw it,
you know. It looked like it was on fire.. .going at
an angle ...it looked like it was going to flip over
4 or 5 feet in the air. Well, let me draw this and
get it over with.
You got the thing on there?
#14 Right.
#8.5 I don't remember looking at this (mumbling) to (mumbling)
put open space so I will know which side of the building
I'm talking about. So...over an area (mumbling) area
A was where I saw the very heavy canvas reinforced bag.
That was either on the ground floor or basement floor in
the vicinity of A. Where I saw the people standing
around was in the vicinity of B.

#8.5 Uh...that C shaped thing was (mumbling) the area
where..uh......... It looked like stuffed sandbags
inside the building! I saw very strong impressions
of revetment, earth and revetment. First as I cleared
my head I saw sandbag. At the time I was looking at
the people standing around looking at one individual
and I saw someone behind the sandbag and I felt it
must be in this same....I guess it's a lobby like room.
#14 You described something covered with a drop cloth.
#8.5 Oh! That was in the vicinity of..uh..a big round
floor in vicinity of "C". I felt there was a hallway
in here so that would be in a space off-center of the
building towards the open space. I don't know what
direction of the compass it is.
I went all the way down the full length of that building
and was looking down the second floor and I was back to
center and I think that's when I felt or saw the impact

of a vehicle and the noise got real loud. This line
up here is the ..uh..(mumbling) of a fence or wall.
Fence, whatever. I think that was all I hit, wasn't
it? I saw alot of things that I didn't think were of
importance. You know., Furniture..uh..different details.
In one room I saw...can't understand that...in one room
I saw..uh..a sailboat ship model sitting on a piece of
furniture. Struct me kind'o funny so I paid atten .......
so I noticed it but, I didn't see anything other than
these people over here. And, the thing under the drop
cloth, I felt strongly about. And the very strongly
enforced bags I, I don't know what that means but they
seemed quite large..uh..they could have been some kind
of mail pouches, or something. I don't know.
#14 Do you have any feeling or impression or sense or..
uh..where this crash... .what direction it might have
been in?
#8.5 I don't know why but I had the feeling it was..uh..
off in the direction of "A" towards that end of the
building. I found myself outside the building looking
around in the vicinity of "D" and looking up at the
cornice of the building ..... about the time I said I'll
go back inside .... uh.... I did not see a crashed vehicle
right there. I don't know why I was at.. .found myself
outside, but, I was approaching that end of the building when
I had this very strong feeling ..uh..I don't know whether
it was intential or accidental or it could have been
outside the wall, but, it seemed to excite..uh..peoples
on the ground. I felt there was excitement on the
ground. I attributed it to the crash that I saw although
I did not know where the crash was. It may not have
had anything to do with each other.

#8.5 Nothing. It wasn't a very good session. Too much
noise.
