Director of Central Intelligence
Central Intelligence Agency
Washington, DC 20505
August 16, 1983
I am very interested in evaluating your Agency's printing requirements.
Not just in the traditional sense of printing and binding, but into a more
full service concept.
is the largest commercial printer, and we offer
such varied services as graphic design, pre-press operations, printing,
binding, photocomposition, data base management, and communications via
satellite.
Presently, we are operating and maintaining data base management systems
with the Internal Revenue Service, the Federal Reserve Board, and others.
The printing and binding aspects are ancillary to the real guts of what we
have to offer.
The enclosed flow chart is a synopsis of the system we have implemented at
the Internal Revenue Service. Does the Central Intelligence Agency have a
similar void to fill? Perhaps a manual system that y requires
updating and disposition to field units. If so, expertise in
this area could greatly enhance your present efforts.
If there is no such void to fill, than I am still most interested in just
your printing and binding re uirements. For you venience, I am forward-
ing some reading material on
Thank you for your time and consideration in this matter.
Sincerely
GG:yl
