As requested in your letter of October 22, 1946, this
office has requested the temporary assignment of Mr.
from the Office of Intelligence Collection and
Dissemination (OCD).to the Central Intelligence Group,
pending formal transfer. 25X1 A
OCD agrees to release Yr.- to CIG on a to mrlporairy
25X1A assignment beginning November 1 1946 for one month. GIG
may, therefore, process Mr. appointment to becoule
effective on or before December 1, 191.6
25X1A This temporary detail is approved with the stipulation
that .ivr. may be recallea by OCD, when necessary, to
work on any unfinished project which is presently his
assignment. If required, these recalls v4-ill be of short
duration and will be cleared informally between.OCD and GIG.
