This is-in,_refer-ence to your request to install or upgrade
required.communicat:ion equipment in various buildings, both
!eased and Government-owned that are under the control of General
Dear Mr.' Casey:-
Pursuant to the. authority vested in me by the Federal Property
and AdministrativeServices Act of 1949 (63 Stat. 377), as
amended, authority-is hereby delegated to the Director of Central
Intelligence Agency to perform all functions in connection with
the installation or renovation of communication equipment in
certain- specified..:locatIons. This delegation shall extend to the
performance, or.provide for the performance, of such
installations under the authority in section 205(e)-(2) of the
above cited Act and shall remain in effect until revoked.
The Director of CIA may redelegate this authority to any officer,
official,. or employee of the CIA, and this authority shall be
exercised~in accordance with the limitations and requirements of
the above-cited Act and other applicable statutes and
,regulations..
